Data Operations Intern

Description

The Data Office for WTW Investments is a central team responsible for sourcing, creating, and maintaining fit-for-purpose, timely, and accurate; to deliver on business outcomes such as trading, analytics, reporting, and performance measurement. The team maintains the golden source of multiple datasets such as Instruments, Pricing, Counterparty, Clients, etc., and ensures data integrity using data quality and standards frameworks. 

The Role

• Maintain dataset across multiple platforms (ex: new clients, pricing, valuations, and portfolio details) based on procedures and protocols.
• Perform data quality control checks, liaising with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as required.
• Develop competence with internal systems and processes.

Qualifications

The Requirements

• Candidate should be an undergraduate student in their third or fourth year, with a focus in the areas of data management, programming, finance, or other related fields.
• A desire to learn and take initiative with problem-solving.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal communication is mandatory.
• Basic R coding (desirable).
• Understanding  Data Management principles in areas of sourcing, cleansing, transformation, etc. will be advantageous.
